The path that you follow is not meant for all.

Many are chosen but few have been called.

The enemy's watching. He comes in disguise

With those who are waiting for your compromise.

Don't be fooled by what you see with your natural eyes. The enemy has filled the world with people who carry lies and deceptions. Things are not as they seem...

There are many people in the world who claim to be Christians. They may look like a Believer and talk like a Believer but if you look closer to test the spirit within them you will find that the Truth is not in them. These are people who attend church regularly, who speak all the right words, who don all the popular Christian paraphernalia and who may even know the Bible from beginning to end, but all that glitters isn't gold...

The Lord tells us that He sends His children out into the world like sheep being dispersed among wolves. This makes for a pretty interesting Walk on the wild side. Though we are to be mindful of this, we are also to mindful that the Lord does not send us out defenseless. He equips us with the tools we need to fight the enemy and we are told to use these tools while being as shrewd as a serpent and as harmless as a dove.

When we encounter a stranger in life, especially one who claims to be a brother or sister in Christ, don't be too quick to welcome them in to your inner circle before you do a spiritual background check. The enemy sends many false prophets out into the world. We must be careful to guard ourselves against impostors. Always look with your spiritual eyes, not your natural eyes, and listen to the Spirit within you.

Our enemy is a master deceiver. We cannot depend on what our flesh or even our heart tells us for it is written: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" Jeremiah 17:9.

So we fight in the spirit by the Spirit when we test the spirit. The Lord warns us against those who are of the enemy. He tells us we will know them by their fruit. For every good tree brings forth good fruit but every corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. Does their life line up with the word of God? Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" Matthew 7:21-23
